We believe we have a unique charism, spirituality and mission to share with our lay collaborators.
To be available to the mission of the Congregation.
- To offer ongoing formation at all levels.
- To deepen the knowledge and experience of our Spirituality.
- To promote and form Redemptorist Lay Missionaries according to the guidelines that define - their participation in our life and mission.

Our lay collaborators in Nigeria comprise of the Friends of the Redemptorists, the Confraternity of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, the League of St. Gerard and the Redemptorist Youth and Vocation Ministry.

They work among the poor of society. Some of the members of our lay associates have recorded great success in their ministry to the prisoners, orphanages, hospitals etc.





SUMMIT OF THE CONFRATERNITY OF OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP

All the executive members from the National body of the confraternity of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in Nigeria converged at the Redemptorist Spirituality Centre Ibadan Nigeria for their first summit to deliberate and forward for approval the constitutions that will be guiding the members of the confraternity on the national, archdiocesan and parish levels in Nigeria.

The summit began with the arrival of the executive members on Friday 12th July 2019, while the Holy Mass of the Holy Spirit declaring the summit opened was offered on Saturday 13th July 2019, after which the summit was officially declared opened by the National President of the Confraternity of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Mrs. Judith Agu. The executives were from different (Arch) dioceses in Nigeria: Lagos, Benin, Abeokuta, Enugu, Abuja, Umuahia, Warri, Isele Ukwu, Kaduna to mention but a few.

The Archbishop of Ibadan Most Rev. Dr. Gabriel Abegunrin was also present to encourage the executives of the confraternity of Our Mother of Perpetual Help for the good works that they have been doing in the Nigerian Church, propagating devotions to Our Mother of Perpetual Help, making Her know to the Nigerian People and indeed the world. The summit came to an end on Sunday 14th July 2019, after the celebration of the Sunday liturgy.
